Black Spots

Grey spots on parrot

Hello!

I recently got 2 beautiful Parrots who seem to be doing well.  This morning I noticed a greyish mark on one of their heads, and some on his belly area.  He is acting ok but what is this?  Parasite??  What should I do?  I am snowed in as of today and I doubt any stores are open to buy anthing.

I got my RB parrot 6 months ago, hes about 4 to 5inches long now,he was pure orange when I first got him,no black marks at all,but time to time his fins will be tinted black with maybe some small spots on his head,what is this a sign of?,his mood or what?, Id appreciate some comments on this if you know what Im talking about.

Fish disease?

 I have had a problem with one of my fish for a while with this black looking mold . I have tried everything. She use to get better but this time it seems noting is working . Any body have any sugguestions. Now i have another problem my big cichild, my baby is getting some type of white stuff around her mouth. I don't; want to lose her trying to save the other one. If any one can suggest any help i would  really apprecaite it. I am lost and the pet stores are no help.

fish is turning black

i have a parrot fish that is starting to turn black, im not sure if this is black itch or not it seems to be spreading. I think he may have gotten a disease from the feeder fish we put in the tank,(we have removed the feeder fish since then). Do i have to empty the tank? And if so how long should it be empty? should i leave it with water or without water?

Hello, I just purchased my blood parrots yesterday, and brought them home.  Not knowing much about them, but have them suggested by a sales person, I was shocked to find that black spots can be a disease.  One of my blood parrots is almost entirely black.  Does this mean that he or she is ill, breeding or tattooed?  How does a person tell the difference?

hi, i have 2 small cichlids in a 55 gallon tank, yesterday i did a 50% water change and now one of them has black streaks on its fins. i read on a website that this is a kind of ick, do i need to treat the water?
the fish doesnt seem sick. the ph is fine.

Hi, very new to here and to fish! About a year ago I saw a huge show tank of parrot fish and fell in love and have wanted them ever since. Someone at the pet store convinced me that all I needed was a 20g aquarium, 3 parrots, 5 tetras and 3 cory fish. I was so patient and put the aquarium together and let it run 2 weeks before I added fish. THe first 3 days were wonderful, but then every day I was scared my parrots were going to die. They would lay on the bottom, be sideways, or a number of other things.

I need help and.....

Not a single person has responded to my asking for help with my 2 BP's.
I thought you people loved these fish. What do you do, just pick and choose who you respond to?
Yes I am New here and was so happy to find a site that was just for Blood parrots but my post has pretty much just been ignored.

Good luck with this kind of attitude towards new people on the site. I for one will not any longer waste my time here waiting for a tidbit of help or suggestions.

Problems with 2 blood parrots.. Help

After 10 yrs of having and enjoying blood parrots I have something wrong with my 2 that are in a 75 gallon tank.
They are in a Tank with 2 other fish (bumble bee's and one pelco.

These 2 blood parrots i have had for a little over a yr and they are approx 6-8" in size each.
They rule the tank they are in. Or they did till 2 weeks ago when I added the small bumblebee. (2"). He has taken over the blood parrots caves, and rocks they play and sleep in daily and this is when the problem started.
